Columns compress automatically so long runs stay visible on phones.
Spider uses two decks: 104 cards. Fifty-four are dealt into ten columns, six in the first four and five in the others, with the top card of each face up. The remaining fifty form the stock, dealt ten at a time, one onto every column. You cannot deal while any column is empty.
You can place a card on any card one rank higher, but only a run that is ordered and all the same suit can be moved as a group. Empty columns accept any card or run, which makes them extremely valuable. When a column ends in a complete King-to-Ace run of one suit, it is cleared to the foundation automatically.
