Use the official winner-takes-all scoring or the popular lowest-score variant.
Scores save automatically, so a game can span several evenings.
In official Uno scoring, the first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round and scores points for every card left in the other players' hands. Number cards score their face value, Skip, Reverse and Draw Two score 20 each, and Wild and Wild Draw Four cards score 50 each. The first player to reach 500 points wins the game.
Many families prefer a variant in which each player scores the cards left in their own hand at the end of every round. Scores climb slowly, and when anyone reaches the target the player with the lowest total wins. Choose the rule set when you start the game.
0 to 9 points: their face value.
Skip, Reverse and Draw Two: 20 points each.
Wild and Wild Draw Four: 50 points each.
