Record each turn with its words, so totals are never disputed.
Switch between classic Scrabble and Words With Friends tile values.
Each tile has a point value printed on it. Letter premium squares multiply only the tile placed on them: a double letter doubles it and a triple letter triples it. After all letter bonuses are added, word premium squares multiply the whole word, and if a word covers two of them the multipliers stack, so two double word squares make x4 and two triple word squares make x9.
Premium squares only count on the turn a tile is first placed on them. Blank tiles are worth zero but still benefit from word multipliers. Playing all seven tiles from your rack in one turn earns a 50-point bingo bonus in Scrabble, or 35 in Words With Friends. Every new word formed in a turn, including cross words, is scored separately and added together.
Q and Z are worth 10, J and X are worth 8.
DW + TW on the same word multiplies by 6.
All seven tiles in one turn adds 50 points after multipliers.
No. The 50 points are added after the word multipliers are applied.
Tap the tile until it shows BLANK. It scores zero, but word multipliers still apply to the rest of the word.
Score each word formed by the move separately and add it to the turn. Only newly placed tiles get premium square bonuses.
They differ slightly, for example B and C are worth 4 and the bingo is 35. Pick Words With Friends in the Tile values menu.
