Limit key results per objective
Three to five focused key results per objective are usually easier to track than a long list.
Add an objective, break it into measurable key results, and update the current value for each one as you make progress. The completion bars update automatically.
The most common OKR mistake is writing a key result that is really just a task, like "launch the new pricing page," instead of a measurable outcome, like "increase trial-to-paid conversion from 8% to 12%." A good key result should have a clear current value and a clear target value, so progress can be tracked honestly rather than judged as simply done or not done.

Updating current values on a regular cadence keeps the tracker useful instead of stale.
Current value divided by target value, capped between 0% and 100%. If the target is 0, it shows 100% once the current value is above 0, or 0% otherwise.
It is the average of the progress percentages of all of that objective's key results.
Yes, just update the current value whenever it changes; the progress bar recalculates immediately.
