The generator first creates a random hidden answer, matching every person with one item from each category. It then draws clues from true facts about that answer: direct matches, ruled-out pairs and comparisons such as "younger than" or "exactly two houses lower".
After each clue is added, a backtracking solver counts how many answers fit. Clues are added until only one answer remains. On medium and hard, the generator then tries removing each clue and drops any that are not needed, leaving a tighter puzzle that relies on deduction.
State that two things belong together. Easy puzzles use more of them.

Read each clue and mark the grid: a cross for pairs that cannot match and a dot for pairs that do. When a row has one empty cell left, that cell must be a match. Carry matches across grids to unlock more deductions.
Yes. The solver checks every possible answer and only keeps a clue set that allows exactly one.
It is a seed for the random generator. Enter the same number with the same settings to recreate an identical puzzle.
Three items and three categories is a gentle introduction. Five items with four categories on hard can take a while even for experienced solvers.
