Each row and column has number clues describing groups of filled cells. Use logic to work out which cells must be filled and which must stay empty.
Nonograms, also called picross or griddlers, are picture logic puzzles solved entirely through deduction — there's no guessing required if you use the clues carefully. Working out the overlap between possible placements in a row, then checking the same for columns, gradually narrows every cell down to a certain answer.
A large number relative to the grid size often forces some overlap you can fill in immediately.
Every deduction in a row can update what's possible in the crossing columns, and vice versa.

Each number is a run of consecutive filled cells in that row or column, in order. For example, a row clue of 2 1 means a block of 2 filled cells, at least one empty cell, then a single filled cell, in that order somewhere in the row.
Use the Fill and Mark buttons above the grid to choose what tapping a cell does. Fill shades a cell in as part of the picture; Mark places a small X to remind yourself a cell is definitely empty.
