User focus
Stories describe value for a real person instead of a technical task.
Fill in who the user is, what they want and why. The generator writes a clean user story, flags common problems like vague words or two goals in one, and collects stories into a backlog you can copy or export.

Stories describe value for a real person instead of a technical task.
A short story invites the team to discuss details and edge cases.
Small, valuable stories can be ordered and delivered incrementally.
Keep each story small enough to finish in a sprint and focused on one goal. If you find "and" in the goal, it is often two stories. Avoid words like "easy" or "fast" unless you say what they mean in the acceptance criteria.
The "so that" clause explains the value. If you cannot write it, the story may not be worth doing - or it may be a technical task that belongs elsewhere.
"Returning shopper" beats "user".
Split stories that contain "and" or "or".
Acceptance criteria say exactly when it is done.
"As a [type of user], I want [some goal] so that [some reason]." It keeps the focus on who benefits and why, not just on the feature.
Good stories are Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small and Testable. The checks here look for the most common slips: missing value, vague words, two goals in one story and stories that are too big.
Paste one story per line as role | goal | benefit, for example: shopper | save items to a wishlist | I can buy them later.
