How to send Morse code with screen flashes
The sender follows the same timing relationships used for traditional sound and light Morse signaling.
Choose the signal
Set a readable speed and a high-contrast light color. Use fullscreen when you want the screen to be visible from farther away.
Point and send
Press start, turn the screen toward the viewer and step back. A tap or the Escape key stops the transmission immediately.

Dots, dashes and the dark gaps between
Good Morse code is more than blinking randomly. This screen flasher uses one timing unit for a dot, three units for a dash, three units between letters and seven units between words.
At 10 WPM, one unit is 120 milliseconds. You can slow the sender down for beginners or increase the speed for an experienced receiver.

How do I send Morse code with my screen online?

Does this use correct Morse code light timing?
Yes. A dash lasts three times as long as a dot. The sender also uses the standard one-unit gap within a letter, three-unit gap between letters and seven-unit gap between words.
Can I use this Morse code screen flasher in fullscreen?
Yes. Leave Use fullscreen selected before starting. If your browser blocks fullscreen mode, the dark signal layer still covers the current browser window.
Will it work as a phone Morse code flashlight?
It uses the phone display, not the camera LED. Raise screen brightness first and keep this page visible. Actual camera-flash access is not consistently supported by browsers.
Is this online Morse light sender private?
Yes. Your message is translated and played locally in the browser. It is not uploaded, saved to an account or shared with the site.
Is screen flashing safe for everyone?
