The page is drawn at real paper dimensions, so a 300 DPI A4 page is 2480 by 3508 pixels. After the margins, title and page number area, the remaining space is divided into your grid of cells, separated by the gap. Each photo is either fitted entirely inside its cell or cropped to fill it, and captions are shortened with an ellipsis if they do not fit.
Photos are added to pages in order until each page is full, and new pages are created automatically. When printing, the pages are sent as images with the paper size set to match, so choose the same paper and set scaling to 100 percent or actual size in the print dialog.
2480 x 3508 pixels, ideal for sharp prints.
Fit shows the whole photo; fill crops to make a uniform grid.
File names help you find the originals later.
