How it works

1

Upload your photo

Click the drop zone or drag a JPG, PNG, or WebP file onto it. The image loads straight into a canvas on your device.

2

Set intensity and randomize

Drag the intensity slider to control channel offset and slice displacement strength, then click Randomize for a new slice pattern at that intensity.

3

Download your glitch art

Toggle the scanline overlay for extra CRT texture, then export the finished datamosh look as a PNG.

FAQ

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The glitch effect is rendered entirely in your browser with the Canvas API, so your photo is never uploaded anywhere.

What does the Randomize button do?

It reseeds the random pattern used for the horizontal slice displacement blocks, giving you a fresh glitch layout at the same intensity level.

What effects make up the glitch look?

Three layers combine: the red and blue channels are offset in opposite directions for a chromatic-aberration look, random horizontal strips of the image are displaced sideways, and a subtle scanline overlay adds a CRT feel.
