Every walk you log is converted to kilometers immediately and stored that way, using the standard conversion of 1 mile equals 1.60934 kilometers. That means switching the display toggle between miles and kilometers never changes your underlying data or introduces rounding drift over time — it simply recomputes what's shown. The "this week" total looks at your device's local date, finds the most recent Monday, and sums every logged walk from that Monday through the following Sunday. The 7-day chart works differently: it always shows the last seven calendar days ending today, regardless of which day of the week it is, which makes it useful for spotting short-term trends even mid-week. All of this data lives only in this browser's local storage on this device — there's no account, no server and no sync.
