Animals, Fruits and Space each get their own small, self-contained grid.

Check marks right and wrong letters without ever revealing an answer you haven't tried.
A live timer and a saved best time per puzzle give you something to chase.
Pick a theme, then fill the grid one clue at a time.
A mini crossword trades the sprawling grid of a Sunday puzzle for something you can realistically finish in a few minutes, without losing the core mechanic that makes crosswords satisfying: every letter you commit to is cross-checked by a second, unrelated clue, so a wrong guess usually reveals itself the moment you try to solve the word crossing it.
Each of the three themed grids here was built so every word shares at least one letter with another word in the set, which keeps the whole puzzle connected rather than a pile of separate mini-answers.
If a word feels wrong, solving the word crossing it is often the fastest way to confirm or fix a letter.
Fewer squares means every letter carries more weight, so a small grid can still take real thought.
Checking your answers doesn't reveal anything you haven't attempted, so there's no downside to using it.
Animals, Fruits and Space each use a completely different word list, so solving one doesn't spoil another.
Questions about navigation, checking and puzzles.
Click any cell to select it, then type letters directly — typing automatically moves you to the next cell in that word. You can also use the arrow keys to move one cell at a time, and Backspace to clear and step back.
Check compares every letter you've filled in against the solution and highlights each cell green for correct or red for incorrect, without giving away any answers you haven't attempted.
Yes. Use the puzzle buttons to jump straight to Animals, Fruits or Space, or hit Shuffle to load a random one of the three.
Reveal fills in every cell with the correct letter immediately, which is handy if you're stuck, though it won't count toward a new best time.
No. Your best solve time for each puzzle is saved only in this browser's local storage on this device and is never uploaded anywhere.
