Cornhole uses cancellation scoring: each team's round points are calculated, then whichever total is higher wins the difference for that round, while the other team gets zero. Equal round points cancel out entirely.
A bag through the hole scores 3 points, a bag resting on the board scores 1 point, and a bag on the ground scores nothing.
If Team A scores 6 round points and Team B scores 4, only the 2-point difference is added to Team A's running total.
