Boxing Round Timer FAQ

What round and rest lengths are typical?

Amateur boxing often uses 2 or 3 minute rounds with a 1 minute rest, while many combat-sports classes use 3 minute rounds with 1 minute rest. You can set any lengths you like.

Does the bell sound automatically?

Yes, a double bell plays at the start of each round, a single bell at the start of each rest period, and a triple bell when the final round ends.

What does the 10-second warning do?

When enabled, a short beep plays 10 seconds before a round ends, a common cue to start finishing the round strong.

Can I pause mid-round?

Yes, use Pause to stop the countdown at any time and Start to resume exactly where you left off.

Do I need sound turned on?

Yes, the bell and warning cues use your device's audio output, so keep your volume on to hear them.
