What is the difference between summary and large image cards?

A summary card shows a small square image beside the text, while a summary large image card shows a full-width image above the text, better suited to photos and graphics.

Do I still need Open Graph tags too?

Yes, Twitter/X falls back to Open Graph tags for any twitter: tag you don't set, so it's common to include both for the widest compatibility.

What image size works best?

A minimum of 300 by 157 pixels is required, but a large 1200 by 630 pixel image is recommended for the summary_large_image card type.

Is the site handle required?

No, it's optional, but including it attributes the card to your account when it's shared.

Where do these tags go?

Paste them inside the head section of the page you want the card to represent.
