FAQ

Is my text sent to a server?

No. Everything runs through your browser's built-in SpeechSynthesis API, which processes and speaks the text locally without sending it anywhere.

Why don't I see many voices?

Available voices depend on your browser and operating system. Some browsers load voices asynchronously, so give it a moment, or try a different browser for more options.

Can I pause and resume mid-sentence?

Yes. Use Pause to stop at the current position and Resume to continue from there, or Stop to cancel entirely.
