Adjustable intensity
Set the flip probability anywhere from a subtle 5% to a maximum 100% for fully alternating chaos.
Flip letters between UPPER and lower case at random. Drag the intensity slider, hit Regenerate for a new pattern, and copy the result in one click.
The text case randomizer flips letters between upper and lower case using an adjustable probability, so you control exactly how mild or extreme the chaos gets.

Randomized or "chaotic" case text has become a familiar sight in memes, group chats and social replies, often used to signal sarcasm, mock a statement, or just add visual noise for comic effect. Unlike alternating case, which flips every other letter in a strict pattern, true randomized case relies on independent probability for each letter, which is why no two regenerations ever look quite the same. This tool treats every character individually: a letter is only ever flipped if it actually has both an upper and lower case form, so digits, emoji, accented punctuation and whitespace are never touched. The intensity slider is really a probability dial — at 0% nothing changes, at 100% almost every letter flips (short of the rare tie in the random roll), and anywhere in between gives you a proportional mix. Because the randomization happens fresh every time you type or press Regenerate, you can keep the same base sentence and intensity setting while cycling through as many different chaotic variations as you like.
Every eligible letter gets its own independent coin flip, weighted by your chosen intensity.
The tool iterates by actual character, not byte, so multi-byte letters are handled correctly.
Word order, spacing, punctuation and line breaks are always preserved exactly.
Each letter in your text is checked independently against the randomness intensity slider. At 50%, roughly half of the letters will flip between upper and lower case, while numbers, punctuation and spaces are always left exactly as typed.
No. Regenerate rolls a fresh random outcome for every letter using the same intensity setting, so you get a new randomized pattern each time without changing your original text.
Only characters that actually have upper and lower case forms are eligible to flip. Digits, punctuation, emoji and spaces pass through completely unchanged.
Yes. All randomization happens locally in your browser with plain JavaScript. Your text is never uploaded or stored on a server.
