Enter a pressure value and instantly see it converted between PSI, bar, kilopascals and standard atmospheres.
Type any pressure reading — tire pressure, a gauge value or a spec sheet number.
Choose whether the value you entered is PSI, bar, kPa or atm.
All four units update instantly using exact SI pressure definitions.
Standard atmospheric pressure (1 atm) is defined as exactly 101,325 pascals, which equals about 14.696 PSI or 1.01325 bar.
PSI (pounds per square inch) is common in the US for tire and equipment pressure. Bar is common in Europe and is very close to 1 atmosphere — 1 bar equals about 14.5 PSI.
The tool uses exact SI definitions (1 atm = 101325 Pa, 1 bar = 100000 Pa, 1 psi = 6894.757293168 Pa), so results are mathematically precise.
