Easy is 1 to 50, Medium is 1 to 100, and Hard is 1 to 500. Choosing one starts a fresh round with a new secret number.

Type a number and submit. The game tells you Higher or Lower until your guess matches the secret number.

Every guess counts as an attempt. Find the number in fewer attempts than before to set a new best for that difficulty.

Is the secret number picked fairly?

Yes. The secret number is generated using your browser's cryptographic random-number generator with rejection sampling, so every number in the chosen range has an equal chance of being picked.

Are my guesses or scores saved anywhere?

No. Your guesses only exist on this page while you play. Just your best, fewest-attempts score per difficulty is saved in your browser's local storage on this device, and it is never sent to a server.

Is there a limit to how many guesses I can make?

No. You can guess as many times as you like until you find the secret number. Try to beat your best score by finding it in fewer attempts next time.
