FAQ
Does this produce a .ico file?
No. It generates PNGs at every common favicon size instead. Modern browsers fully support PNG favicons declared with link tags, so a packaged multi-resolution .ico file usually isn't necessary.
What image should I upload?
A square (or close to square) image with a simple, recognizable shape works best, since it will be shown very small in browser tabs and bookmarks.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is resized entirely in your browser using the Canvas API; nothing is sent to a server.
