Pick a base color and instantly see complementary, triadic, analogous, split-complementary and tetradic palettes computed with real HSL math.
Every color has a hue position on a 360-degree color wheel. Harmonies rotate that hue by fixed offsets: complementary colors sit 180 degrees apart, triadic colors are spaced 120 degrees apart, analogous colors sit within 30 degrees of the base, split-complementary pairs two colors near the complement, and tetradic uses two complementary pairs at 90-degree offsets. Pick a base color above and every palette updates instantly using real HSL conversion math written from scratch.

Every swatch shows both formats and copies its hex code with a single click.
Conversions between hex, RGB and HSL are computed locally with no external libraries.
A color harmony is a set of colors chosen using their relative positions on the color wheel, such as opposite, evenly spaced or neighboring hues, to create a visually pleasing combination.
Complementary colors sit directly opposite each other on the color wheel, 180 degrees apart, creating high contrast and strong visual energy.
Triadic colors are spaced 120 degrees apart for balanced contrast, while analogous colors sit close together, usually within 30 degrees, for a calmer, more harmonious look.
The base color is converted to HSL, its hue is rotated by fixed degree offsets for each harmony type, then converted back to hex and RGB.
