A business day count is the total number of calendar days in a range, minus weekend days and any holidays that fall on a working day within that same range. This matters for shipping estimates, contract deadlines, and payroll calculations, where weekends and public holidays should not count toward the total.
Most regions exclude Saturday and Sunday, but some use Friday and Saturday instead.
Only holidays that fall within your chosen date range and are not already a weekend day are excluded.
Both the start and end date are counted as part of the range.
The tool counts every calendar day from your start date to your end date, then removes weekend days and any dates you listed as holidays that fall within that range, leaving only working days.
