What is a burn after reading note?
On this page, it is a temporary private note that exists only while the current page is open. It is for writing and reading on your own device—not for sending to another person.
Is my private note saved anywhere?
No. The tool does not put note text in localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, a URL, a database or cloud storage. Standard cookieless page analytics may record that the page or Burn button was used, but your text and text-derived details are never included.
When does the note delete itself?
Closing the tab destroys the page and its in-memory note. Reloading, navigating away or returning through browser history also resets the writing space to blank. You can use Burn now to clear it immediately.
Can I share this self-destructing note online?
No. There is intentionally no send button, shareable link or recipient view. If you need to exchange sensitive information, use a reputable end-to-end encrypted service designed for that purpose.
Is this private burn after reading note online free?
Yes. The tool is free in a modern browser with no account, sign-up or download.
Can the note be recovered after I burn it?
