Bulk barcode generator FAQ

Which barcode format should I use?

Code 128 is a flexible default for internal inventory and asset labels. EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A are used for retail workflows, while ITF-14 is commonly used for shipping cartons. Match the format required by your existing system.

Does this tool create official UPC or EAN numbers?

No. It turns values you already have into barcode artwork. Obtain official retail identifiers from the appropriate standards organization before generating the images.

Why were some rows skipped?

Formats such as EAN, UPC, ITF-14, MSI and Pharmacode accept specific numeric values. Skipped rows are incompatible with the selected format and should be corrected before trying again.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG works well in documents and common design tools. SVG is resolution-independent and is usually the better choice for professional label layouts and printing.

Are my barcode values uploaded?

No. Barcode rendering and ZIP creation happen locally in your browser.
