Invalid AMP is ignored
Search engines and platforms skip invalid AMP pages and fall back to your regular page.
Catch the AMP errors that break validation most often. Paste your AMP page source to check required markup, CSS limits, disallowed tags and missing extension scripts.
This lite validator covers the most common rules only. Use the official AMP validator before publishing.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

AMP forbids custom JavaScript, limits CSS and requires exact boilerplate, so small slips are common.
Paste the source and see problems in a second, without deploying anything.
The checker parses your HTML without running it and verifies the AMP document requirements: the doctype, the amp attribute on the html tag, explicit head and body, a UTF-8 charset meta tag first in head, a viewport tag, the async runtime script, a canonical link and both boilerplate style blocks.
It then looks for the problems that most often fail validation: custom or inline JavaScript, inline event handlers, external stylesheets, more than one custom style tag, CSS over 75,000 bytes or using !important, regular img, video, audio and iframe tags, disallowed elements and inputs, AMP components without their extension script, and media components missing width and height.
Doctype, amp attribute, charset, viewport, runtime, canonical and boilerplate.
Custom scripts, event handlers, plain media tags and unsupported elements.
Every amp-* component used must load its matching extension script.
Not necessarily. This tool covers the most common rules; the official AMP validator checks hundreds of attribute and value rules. Use both.
Only inside <noscript>. Elsewhere use <amp-img> with width and height.
Not directly. Use AMP components, or amp-script for limited custom logic in a sandbox.
AMP only allows external stylesheets from approved font providers. Put your CSS in a single <style amp-custom> tag.
No. It is parsed in your browser with DOMParser and never executed.
