About the check-in log

Accountability works best when it's honest and recurring. This tool is intentionally simple: log a status, add a note if you want, and move on. Over time the history and streak give you an honest picture of how consistent you've really been — not just how you remember it.

Built for honesty

Off track entries are just as easy to log as On track ones, so your history stays truthful.

Streaks that reflect reality

The current streak breaks the moment an Off track entry appears, keeping you accountable.

Filter your history

Quickly view only your On track, Off track, or Done entries to spot patterns.

Completely private

No account, no server. Your check-ins live only in this browser's local storage.

Accountability check-in log FAQ

Quick answers about streaks, editing, and privacy.

How is the "current streak" calculated in this accountability log?

The streak counts your most recent consecutive check-ins that are marked On track or Done, starting from your latest entry. The first Off track entry going backward breaks the streak.

Can I edit a check-in after I've logged it?

Each entry is meant to capture a snapshot moment, so this tool doesn't support editing. You can delete a check-in and log a new one instead.

What's the difference between Off track and just skipping a check-in?

Logging an honest Off track entry keeps your history complete and is more useful for reflection than skipping a check-in altogether. It still counts toward your total, just not your streak.

Is my accountability log private?

Yes. All check-ins are stored in your browser's local storage on this device only. Nothing is sent to a server, and there's no account or login.
